As an environmentally conscious company and a world class provider in our chosen business field, it is our objective to set an example of leadership in environmental management, through commitment to the following:
- The identification of requirements relating to the environmental aspects of our activities that have a significant impact.
- The identification of any legal requirements relating to the activities that we undertake.
- The definition, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of processes that enable the management of environmental impacts and ensure a high performance in the context of these requirements.
- To set a level of environmental awareness and promote a responsible approach that will ensure continual improvement as regards the impacts our collective activities have on the environment.
- The definition, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of mechanisms for environmental performance evaluation.
- The definition, communication and evaluation of objectives relevant to the requirements of the Environmental Management System against which we may benchmark our performance.
- The identification of necessary measures to provide a safe and healthy workplace, protect the environment, conserve energy and natural resources, and prevent pollution by applying appropriate management practices and technology.
- The identification of corrective and preventive actions, as well as initiatives for improvement, with a view to continually improving the system, and ultimately improvements in terms of the impacts our activities have upon the environment through management review process (management review conducted at Board level).
As an environmentally responsible company we aim, wherever possible, to utilise suppliers with the same principles, to work with our customers to reduce the environmental impact of our mutual activities and to incorporate environmental considerations at the planning stage of all business improvement initiatives.
